Riverbend is one of the largest music festivals in the South, accommodating fans of all genres. Each June, for 9 days straight, the stages are blaring, the river’s full of boaters and the roads and bridges are covered with thousands of pedestrians. A mist all the music, there’s fried food, beer, fireworks, and vendors. There’s room for the healthy too, a Race sponsored by Bluecross Blueshield and plenty of things to walk to (including your car, parked far far away).
Riverbend 2012 is featuring several Country music and Bluegrass bands this year, including Eric Church and The Band Perry. The star of the show, Lauren Alaina, is from the Chattanooga area ( North Georgia). Riverbend 2012 will also feature Christian Praise and Worship artist Chris Tomlin and the classic Rock band Foreigner.
General admission to the festival is bought at Kangaroo Filling stations in the form of a collectable pin. The pin is worn on your clothing to get through the gate, these pins are a part of the Riverbend culture and tradition. Each year the pin features a new design. “Star passes” are also available by calling 423-756-2211. Star Passes allow admission holders reserved up-front seating at the main Coca-Cola stage.

This week’s top 20 video countdown on GAC looks a little like the results of the final episode of last season’s American Idol. The number one fan voted video of the week is “The Trouble With Girls” by McCreery and the number two video is “Georgia Peaches” by Alaina. Lauren’s latest video (Georgia Peaches) pulled through in a big way because it wasn’t even charted last week.
#3 “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore” Alan Jackson
#4 “Tough” Kellie Pickler
#5 “I Don’t Want This Night To End” Luke Bryan

Lauren Alaina is young to country music and to the world in general, but she’s still been able to leave an impression on us with her style. Lauren is definitely a country girl to the bone and is rarely seen in an anything but blue jeans or sundresses. Lauren’s shows off those tight jeans (along with her healthy new body) in the new music video “Georgia Peaches” from her album “Wildflowers”.
Lauren’s starring in an episode on GAC called ” Day Jobs” . In her episode she takes a job at Ci Ci’s pizza near her hometown in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. (Lauren actually worked at the same Ci Ci’s the 6 months leading to her audition on American Idol.)
Here’s are the outfits that remind us of Lauren Alaina, product info is available at the very bottom.
